She’s stepped up to the plate in a powerful way,
Showing what teamwork means day by day.
A foster, a mentor, a guide and a friend,
With wisdom and kindness that never will end.

Six cats at once—she’s done the TNR,
Her passion for rescue shines near and far.
Barn cats at home, each one knows her care,
A heart full of love, always ready to share.

Through trials in life, she stood strong and true,
Beside her dear husband, she carried them through.
Now sunshine surrounds them, the hardest days past,
Her strength and her spirit will always last.

 Leslie, your name means dedication to all,
A rescuer with courage who answers the call.
With every life touched, your legacy grows,
A love for the cats that everyone knows.

For all that you give, in big ways and small,
You’re proof that compassion can rescue us all.
This month we honor the work you’ve done,
A true cat lover, second to none.
