You can kick off the Labor Day weekend by enjoying a delcious breakfast or brunch at Turning Point Restaurant in North Wales and support the cats & kittens of Stray Cat Blues at the same time!

#TheRescueEffect "Better Together"
This fall, Stray Cat Blues is proud to join #TheRescueEffect—a nationwide effort to help more shelter pets find loving homes.
The idea is simple: Adopt One. Help Many.
Every time one cat leaves foster care for a loving home, another cat in need can take their place. One adoption creates room for another rescue, another second chance, and another life changed.
To celebrate #TheRescueEffect, we're hosting three special adoption weekends featuring some of the cats who need families most. Thanks to a generous grant, adoption fees for featured cats during each event will be covered by the ASPCA, helping more cats find loving homes while creating space for the next cat in need.
Better Together
August 1–2
Some cats are happiest with their best friend by their side. During Better Together, adopt a bonded pair—or any two cats—and the adoption fee for the second cat is waived.
You're invited to meet our adoptable cats and kittens at either of our PetSmart adoption centers.

The main attraction for this wonderful community event include and ART & CRAFT FESTIVAL with a juried invitational showcase of fine arts, selected artisans and crafters. More than 90% of the vendors at Lansdale Day are talented artisans exhibiting from 10am-4pm with so much to see!!
You can shop for fabulous one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts, jewelry, beautiful home decor and gorgeous art for the home, office or back yard. These talented participants are more than happy to give a history of how their items are crafted - some of which is done on-site! You will be pleased with whatever treasures you purchase!

We hope you’ll join us to be a part of this incredible community collaboration between local farms and food makers, artisans and creative makers, breweries and distilleries, and food trucks, along with service groups and non-profit organizations.
Each year this event has entertained more than 1,000 attendees from around the Montgomery and Bucks County regions.
Moore College of Art & Design Spring Open House
Join us for our Spring Open House! During the day you will have the opportunity to explore our urban campus, connect with current students, have your portfolio reviewed, tour the classrooms and studios, learn about our $1,000 paid internship, and meet with our award winning faculty.
Portfolio reviews times will be given at check in. Those who decide to bring art for review can either use this time to complete the portfolio section of their application or receive informal feedback.
The event is free and open to the public and lunch will be provided.
*Friendly reminder Moore does not have campus parking so please allow extra time to park before your visit. We recommend parking at the Kennedy House Garage located at 1901 John F Kennedy Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19103. This is the most convenient parking option and is just two blocks from campus.
