Help us celebrate and give a big round of applause to our incredible Volunteers of the Month, Jennifer Pone & Melissa Nyce — where compassion meets action every single day.

At North Wales PetSmart, our rescue’s heart beats strong,
Two women keep it steady and keep it moving along.
Jennifer and Melissa — a powerhouse pair,
With grit in their steps and compassion to spare.

Jennifer is the backbone — the steady, guiding hand,
Leading cage cleaners, making sure shifts are manned.
She cleans, she feeds, she organizes the crew,
Then heads to WWS for the cats waiting too.
With patience and care, she helps shy ones believe,
That love is still real and safe to receive.

Melissa is the magic that fills in the seams,
She jumps in with fosters, supports others’ dreams.
Cat-sitting, temp housing, she’s always on call,
With a heart big enough to care for them all.
She sees what needs doing and acts without pause,
Always working for the cats — and the cause.

Together they innovate, improve, and inspire,
Keeping the rescue running, lifting spirits higher.
Our cage cleaners and feeders keep adoptions in sight,
Because these two heroes make everything right.

So here’s to Jennifer and Melissa — this honor’s well-earned,
For every life saved and every lesson learned.
You don’t just keep rescue alive — you help it to grow,
And the joy in each cat’s eyes is proof you should know.
