Help Request

We receive a very high volume of requests each day for assistance with stray and abandoned cats. Our rescue relies on available foster homes and trappers and our capacity is limited while we wait for more cats in our care to be adopted. Every request is reviewed and prioritized based on urgency. We are only able to intake new cats as space becomes available.

Our service area is primarily Montgomery, Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties.

If you have found an injured cat or orphaned kittens that require bottle feeding, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

If you are willing to temporarily foster the cat or cats you have found with the support of Stray Cat Blues, please let us know in the description of the cats section of the form. Our Temporary Foster Program allows many more cats to receive help than would otherwise be possible, and your willingness to foster may significantly increase our ability to assist.

If you need to return a cat adopted from us, please fill out our Return Request form.

Be aware that each week, Stray Cat Blues receives many more requests to take in cats and kittens than we are able to accommodate. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to take the cat(s) that you contact us about. We will do our best to respond right away, but if you do not hear back from us, feel free to send a follow-up email to helprequestfollowup@straycatblues.org. Please help us also spread the word of Stray Cat Blues and help us help more cats (https://www.straycatblues.org). By submitting this intake request, please note that we will also add you to our email database to keep you informed about the work we are doing to help cats.
