Every Second Counts To Save Lincoln

🚨 Stray Cat Blues Rescue is facing an emergency that is becoming all too familiar and far too frequent.

FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) is hitting our kittens hard right now, and we are in desperate need of medication to keep fighting for them.

Eleven-week-old Lincoln is in critical condition at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Norristown.

Just days ago, he showed signs we hoped might be treatable; dehydration, vomiting, diarrhea, and a distended belly. But despite initial care, his condition has worsened, and he is now hospitalized with suspected FIP.

He is fragile, uncomfortable, and running out of time.

Veterinarians have urged at least 12–24 hours of intensive hospitalization, and we must begin FIP treatment immediately if he is going to have any chance. The medication alone is costly, and when combined with emergency care, diagnostics, and hospitalization, the expenses quickly become overwhelming.

And Lincoln is not the only one.

We are seeing a surge in suspected FIP cases across our rescue. This is every rescuer's nightmare—multiple kittens, all needing urgent, life-saving medication at the same time.
