How did you hear about Stray Cat Blues?

You must be at least 21 years of age to foster with our organization. Responsibilities include taking cats/kittens to vet for all medical work, feeding, socializing, and promoting them for adoption online and by bringing them to one of our adoption facilities in North Wales, Lansdale, or Collegeville. Must attend an initial training and attend regular Zoom foster meetings.

Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR); Help Request Team (help review website submissions of found cats who need assistance); Transportation (moving cats or supplies to/from TNR sites, vet offices, etc.); Staffing at adoption events at Petsmart Collegeville; Staffing at adoption events at Petsmart North Wales; Cage cleaning, feeding, and interacting with cats at PetSmart Collegeville; Cage cleaning, feeding, and interacting with cats at PetSmart North Wales; Cage cleaning, feeding, and interacting with cats at Whiskers Way Station (Lansdale); Socializing cats at our Whiskers Way Station; Cage cleaning, feeding and socializing barn cats at our Green Lane location; Adoption or volunteer applicant screening (making phone calls and emailing from your home); Assist at public events and/or fundraising events; Grant writing; Responding to emails; Responding to and answering phone calls/voicemails; Tech support (updating our website, google workspace, data analysis, etc.); Non-event fundraising (gifts-in-kind, letter writing, etc.); Marketing (PR, social media, graphic design, newsletter, photography/video, etc.); Accounting Skills (QBO) or any other opportunities not listed here.

FOSTER AGREEMENT

In consideration of Stray Cat Blues, Inc., I agree to the following terms and conditions and intend to be legally bound by them if I become a volunteer. • I will abide by the mission, rules, regulations, policies and programs of Stray Cat Blues, Inc. while I am a volunteer. • I assume the risks of being bitten, scratched, injured, or frightened by cats and kittens in connection with my volunteer work for Stray Cat Blues. Stray Cat Blues is not liable to me for any injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgements, costs, or expenses whatsoever that I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer activities for Stray Cat Blues, unless they are the result of Stray Cat Blues’ gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I will indemnify, defend and hold Stray Cat Blues harmless from and against any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, losses, costs and expenses whatsoever sustained by any animal or any person in connection with my intentional misconduct or negligent performance of volunteer activities for Stray Cat Blues or by breach of Stray Cat Blues’ rules, regulations, policies, and programs. • If I stop being a volunteer for SCBI for any reason, or upon Stray Cat Blues’ termination request, I will promptly return all of Stray Cat Blues' cats, supplies, equipment, records, monies, and any other Stray Cat Blues property in clean working condition. • I understand and agree that Stray Cat Blues may refuse foster applications for any reason. • I understand that my phone number and email address may be distributed to other Stray Cat Blues volunteers for the purpose of conducting Stray Cat Blues volunteer work. I give my permission to have my contact information placed on the Stray Cat Blues volunteer list. • I agree to activate, maintain, and utilize a straycatblues.org email for my duration as a volunteer. I understand this will be deactivated when leaving Stray Cat Blues. • I have accurately and truthfully completed this Volunteer Application and Agreement. • I assert that I am 21 years or older
