Best Friends Animal Society National Conference 2017

Several of our volunteers attended the Best Friends Animal Society's National Conference 2017 which was held in Atlantic City!  One of the main goals discussed at the conference is to make shelters across the US No-Kill by 2025.  We can get there!

Best Friends Animal Society National Conference 2016

Deb and Chris, two of our wonderful volunteer trappers, traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the Best Friends Animal Society's National Conference, July 14-17.  The message of the conference:  "Where people, passion and purpose come together to Save Them All."

CATS ON THE MAT

The Cats on Mats Event at Moyo Yoga Studio was a huge success, not to mention a lot of fun! We don't know who had more fun, the kitties running around or the attendees! The yoga session was far from tranquil, as one would think it would be. Between the opera singing yoga teacher, the kitties running about and giggles from everyone, it couldn't have gone better.  The entire staff at Moyo couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming to SCB. They went above and beyond to make this event successful. The nearly 100 attendees were beyond generous with their donations. Thank you to everyone!

Kitten Bowl!

Attached are pictures of the Kitten Bowl that was held at the CFA Cat Show. Despite one kitty getting loose, these adorable 4 month old kittens had a ball!  We had 3 touchdowns, and were very lucky to catch the escapee before he went too far.

Many thanks to our fosters who brought their kittens!! A good time was had by all . . .

A Daring Rescue - all in a day's work for our awesome TNR trappers!

Cat Show at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center - Nov 22/23

Some of our wonderful volunteers, plus Calvin the Therapy Cat, were on hand at the Cat Show at the Expo Center to spread the word about Stray Cat Blues and the importance of helping animals in need.  Great work guys!

Comic Con

Stray Cat Blues had a great time at Comic Con!  A fun way to get the word out about Stray Cat Blues and the importance of rescue and TNR.
