If you would like Stray Cat Blues to see if there is a foster home that is able to take a stray cat or cats that you have found, please complete the form below.
Our service area is central parts of Bucks and Montgomery Counties and the immediately surrounding areas. If you are outside that area, please click here for a list of other Greater Philadelphia area rescues and shelters. If you are outside the Philadelphia area, click here to go to a Petfinder search function that can help you located rescues near you.
Our group focuses on stray and abandoned cats. As a policy we do not take in people's pets unless the cat(s) was originally adopted from us. If you need to return a cat adopted from us, please click here for our Return Request Form. If you are looking to find a new home for your pet, click here for a list of other area rescues and shelters. Also, click here to go to a site with ideas of how to place your cat yourself. You may also want to try Get Your Pet (click here), or Adopt a Pet Rehome (click here).
If your cat is having a behavioral issue, please click the Resources tab at the right for links that may be able to help you correct the problem and keep your cat.
At this time, our barn cat foster home is unable to take in additional feral barn cats. If you are looking for help with a cat or cats that are not socialized to people (able to be petted, picked up), please check the TNR Info tab on this website. We enthusiastically encourage Trap Neuter Return!
Be aware that each week we receive in many more requests to take in cats and kittens than we are able to accommodate. So we cannot guarantee that we will be able to take the cat that you contact us about. So, you should also contact other rescues in your area (click here), and network with friends and family to try to place the cat (click here for ideas). If we are able to find a foster home to take in the cat(s) you contact us about, the foster home will contact you to make arrangements. If we are able to accept the cat(s) that you contact us about, we would ask that you make a donation of at least $25 to help cover the cost of caring for the cat(s) while in foster care and getting needed vet work completed.
If you are submitting an Intake Request for stray kittens, please click here first for additional information so that you can estimate the age of the kittens.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Intake Request Form MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED and the appropriate boxes checked in order for us to consider your request.
